I offer walk and talk sessions at two locations local to Walton in Wakefield. Taking time out in nature is not only beneficial to our physical health but also our mental health. Taking the time to appreciate your surroundings can also benefit your though processes. Walking is known to reduce stress and anxiety and aid emotional regulation.
We will be outside for 50 minuets, the same as an indoor session, moving at the clients pace and where possible taking time to stop or sit and take in our environment. Suitable clothing and footwear is important but the walks are fairly easy and accessible for those who enjoy walking regularly. I charge £50 per session. Walk and talk sessions are usually only available between 10.30 and 2.30 due to time constraints.
